To Keep Present

To keep a present
Is to acknowledge the future,
To cherish also the past
That we've shared.

To keep a gift
Is to give thanks to the friendship,
The laughter, the joy and
The warmth and the care.

To give a small trinket
Is a token of gratitude,
Hoping that next year
Our bond is renewed.

But to give from the heart
Is a show of good faith
In the future, the past, and
The present stay true.

May be. Or May be Not.
Forget Me or Forget Me Not.
One may flower, all may bloom
Some may wither in the gloom
Of depression found yet cheer not lost
For Forget Me Not may be worth the cost.

For loved one's tomorrows,
We must endure hardship,
Agony, sorrow.

For what comes today
May last but a while,
Yet in memory they last
And live on in your smile.

Resolution

To be resolute about one's goals,
One strives to reach and achieve them.
To be steadfast, strong, and brave
Against those who might go bereave them.
And when another cares enough to
Come out and say "I believe him."
Then we may have the beginnings of
The perfect resolution.
